Bless The Lord by, Taco & Jac
Review by Kamau Austin

If you have two souls and love the inspirational messages of Gospel in the mix with Hip Hop beats and music, urban hip Gospel recording artists "Taco & Jac" are for you.
Taco & Jac in their current CD really put forth a industry standard production in their album "Bless the Lord". I became aware of Taco & Jac at the Gospel Industry Portal
Gospel Links

Their vibrant beats and smooth vocals are as good as anything mainstream commercial. This is Christian music but definitely blazed from new school Hip Hop and urban soul. All the cuts are quality music which surprised me because many times both mainstream and Christian albums have only a few good cuts.

This album will not only make you want to move but it is deeply soulful and inspirational with songs like "You Can Make It". Mary's Baby, the second song showcases the groups impressive vocal range and is new school and also taps into the profound emotion of a Negro spiritual or the blues.

Certain points of the album are pensive and deeply moving like the song "Jesus When I Taste Your Spirit". Subsequently the beautiful melody "Forever" is a well done and beautify love song to God.

"Bless the Lord", and Testimony, are... all out dance or praise jams. We worship You is another deeply moving praise song.

In short, this is a must have album for Christians and those open to uplifting urban Hip Hop music. You'll have a hard time hitting the off button on this CD.
